Aimée Wilkinson
Classics and Gender EDITOR

I have recently graduated from Lancaster University with a Master’s in Digital Humanities and have begun a position at Cardiff Metropolitan University as a Library Assistant. My studies focused on the ancient world, specifically classics and pagan religion. My research aims to bring a greater focus to women in ancient religious spaces and how technology can be incorporated into the research of classics to explore different perspectives of the ancient world and make classical studies more accessible. My move to Wales has also sparked a great interest in Welsh folklore and culture.
I am particularly interested in visualisation and delving deeper into the research questions that can be asked of source-based models. Specifically, what we can learn about the Pagan worshipper experience and women’s roles in Pagan religion through the visualisation of temples.
My interests also span across art and literature, from the Classical to the classic literature such as Wilde and the Brontë sisters. Therefore, I welcome questions and submissions on art, literature, and classical religion, as well as the ancient world more generally.
