I am the Early-Modern period editor for Epoch magazine and a second-year PhD candidate at Lancaster University. My current research focuses upon the Jacobites of Lancashire and Cheshire and their distinct social and cultural expressions as well as their roles in rebellions and subsequent conceptualisations. I also have an interest in local and digital histories as well as taking a social focus in my methodology. As such I have been interested in topics as far flung as Finnish interwar nationalism, Swedish land reform in the 18th century and English civil war radical movements. I welcome working with any Early-Modern pieces as well as more modern social, cultural and military studies. I also reside on the organisational board for LHPC Histfest forwarding its Social aspects. Please contact me with any and all questions regarding articles in the Early-Modern period or any other topics I may be able to help with.
